I wouldn't like me if I met me.

Hello, I'm Rachel. This blog is pretty much just a place for me to get my thoughts out and try to makes sense of the world around me. I thought it'd be a nicer place for my friends to follow where they could be free of my fangirling on my other blog.

If anything strikes a chord with you or you want to talk, please don't hesitate. I'm here to listen as well as to be heard.

For those of you keeping up…

The smell in my room has gotten worse and is now in the bathroom and my mom’s room. Tomorrow we’re investigating under the house to see if there’s like a deadmau5 (see what I did there?) or something because it can’t get much worse. All of the sprays I keep using are making my throat burn. Ugh. Life’s rough sometimes.

EDIT: Mom and I manned up and went and looked under the house. There was a dead thing right under my room. Mom scooped it up with a shovel and hoe and threw it into the woods. I lit matches inside to make the smell die. Basically, we’re awesome.

Mom and I are supposed to be switching rooms tomorrow, but I don’t think I want to. This is MY room, ya know? I just feel at home here. I’ve even tried hanging out in her room this week, but it just feels weird. I’ll let her down easy in the morning. Hopefully she won’t be too upset.

EDIT: I told Mom tonight, and she’s not bovvered. She’s probably happy because that takes out a lot of the work we’d have to do this weekend. On a side note though, my room smells really weird and even though I’ve had the window open all day, it hasn’t helped. Gross.
